Friendly and attentive staff. Reasonably priced drinks, I can recommend the cocktails, very well balanced and smooth. Also well priced food and which is good quality, made with fresh ingredients. It has a good atmosphere, able to have a conversation without hearing everyone else even the tables are close. The interior could do with a bit more decor, the walls look a bit bare.
I had a fantastic experience at this Italian restaurant! The lasagna was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with rich flavors that made every bite enjoyable. The wine recommended by our waiter was an excellent choice and paired beautifully with the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a nice evening. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Highly recommended!
We called in by chance but it had been recommended by a friend and what a fine choice. We started with bruschetta e funghi & calamari. Then lobster ravioli and rigatoni ragu followed by millifoglio and tiramisu. Every dish was perfect, the service was attentive & efficient the way to improve this restaurant would be to have a view of the bay of Naples. We will definitely return.
Discovered the place by chance . Mentioned it to a friend who told me that he had heard some good things about it . So I booked a table for four . Service was attentive, staff very good and the food looked authentic. They don't use cream in the carbonara, which to me is always a good sign ! We had a good evening , I liked the atmosphere of the place as well . If we take away the drinks, we paid around 32 for a 3 course meal which I find pretty decent . I would not hesitate to go back, there are a few other things on the menu I'd like to try
Attentive staff from the moment we entered the door, suave décor, a wood fire and classy atmosphere. Opened with the Roast Octopus which had a deep savoury flavour from the grill, perfectly chewy exterior and a tender inside, bed of peppery oregano and accompanying lemon cutting through and enhancing the entire experience. Unbeatable as a starter. A main of Lasagne, whilst unlikely to blow you away, it is a staple dish done very well by the restaurant. Cheese and Béchamel not overwhelming the other flavours, fries were a side order which rounded the meal out. Classic Tiramisu, the creamy layer had an ideal consistency, light sponge fingers, the cocoa powdering offering a gentle sweetness. I enjoyed each spoonful with the amaretto coming through after the initial sweetness. La Villa Verde was a standout for me, certainly worth going out of your way for.
The food and drink was so unbelievably good. Genuine Italian cuisine with Italian owners. What really struck me as excellent was the service. The waiters and waitresses were so attentive, their timing was impeccable and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and after my first visit I will 100% be going back.
I was invited to a friend’s birthday dinner at this restaurant and oh my God — I think I had the best gnocchi with gorgonzola I’ve ever tasted. The other dishes were just as incredible, and for starters, I had the grilled octopus, which was absolutely delicious. Since I was in love, I even tried a few bites of my friends’ starters, and everything was simply outstanding. The service was excellent, the staff were lovely and welcoming, and all of our food arrived at the same time, piping hot and perfectly prepared. I’m also especially thankful to the team for being so kind even after we stayed past closing time — we were all so engaged in conversation that we lost track of the hour, but not once did they make us feel rushed or uncomfortable. Quite the opposite — they continued to serve us drinks while we settled the bill and kept the atmosphere warm and friendly until the very end. It was a fantastic evening with delicious food and amazing people. I’m definitely coming back (with the opening hours in mind now, guys!) thank you so much!!
3 course meal for my birthday, great service, fantastic choices on menu. Difficult to choose! Food was great.
